Faculty Grievance
Faculty Grievance
The committee shall evaluate grievances filed by faculty members and decide whether grievances should proceed to a hearing. Results of the hearing will be forwarded to the President as recommendations for redress. The committee shall follow the Faculty Grievance Procedure outlined in Article 6 of the Senate Constitution.
Membership
The Faculty Grievance Committee shall be composed of: 15 faculty members, one elected member from each academic college, one elected member from the libraries, one elected member from the non-tenure track faculty members of the Cooperative Extension Service who are not included in academic departments, and one elected member from the non-tenure track faculty in University Extension who are not included in academic departments.

The chair shall be elected from within the Grievance Committee and shall serve one year as chair-elect before assuming duties of the chair as provided in Article 6, Section 3

No member shall serve more than two consecutive three-year terms.
