Senate Committees
Members of Senate committees are responsible for initiating projects, reviewing policies, and making recommendations related to their committee’s charge. Senate committees provide an annual report to the Senate executive committee and may bring motions to the Senate floor for the body to debate and vote on.
University Committees
University committees bring together faculty, staff, students, and administrators to address a variety of campus-wide functions and issues. While University Committees are under the purview of the central administration, the Senate may place items on any University committee’s agenda and request that the Senate body be apprised of the committee’s activities.
